What we offer
Educational Visits Advise
Our Educational advisor is Mike Fawcett. Mike is an Accredited Member of the national panel of Outdoor Education Advisers and has the experience, skills, knowledge and understanding to provide expert advice on all aspects of planning for Educational Visits. He also has specific expertise in ‘Enhanced Risk’ Category C visits which include all residential, adventurous and international visits and those with the planned use of water outdoors.
The Evisit Portal
This is an intuitive, one-page visit planning portal, with automatic alerts for updates and approvals and extensive reports at the click of a button. It has unmatched functionality with flexible configurations for user roles, approval flows and new form fields, AALA and LOtC integration, qualifications and certifications for staff, dynamic risk assessment builders and unlimited manual imports from pupil management systems.
Accredited Training
Our competitively priced in person face-to-face training courses are accredited by the national panel of Outdoor Education Advisers and can be delivered at your school or at accessible and vetted training locations. These courses provide invaluable opportunities for professional discussion, small group work, and networking over lunch or refreshments.
Visit Emergency Support
An emergency on a school visit can happen at any time – and school leaders need access to swift and timely advice. The Visit Emergency Support Network (VESN) – 24 hour critical incident support from a team of 5 experienced advisers working in partnership. All schools that subscribe to Longtown EVAS have access to this service.
